Product Launches
Da Vinci Energy Portfolio
Da Vinci Energy includes three major pieces of technology that round out the product portfolio and is consistently adding new features and innovative hardware.
As the Creative Program Manager of the Energy Portfolio, I orchestrated simultaneous launches with multiple Product Managers. Starting each launch with strategic conversations around key features and industry differentiators, I worked with each Product Manager to create a creative deliverable plan for their launch. From there I built out cross-functional timelines coordinating dependency work between photo and video production, content strategists, graphic designers, digital marketers, event producers, and FDA clearance.
Ion by Intuitive
The Ion endoluminal system is a robotic platform for minimally invasive biopsy in the peripheral lung. The Ion system allows for early detection of lung cancer enabling patients to get answers allowing more time to consider treatment options.
As a granddaughter who lost her Grandfather to late stage lung cancer, it was an honor to be a Program Manager on this launch. Launching a product first of its kind was both amazing and difficult; amazing for its lifesaving capabilities and difficult for the clinical and regulatory requirements around appropriate marketing language. Similar to all launches, I partnered with Product Managers on launch plans and cross-functional creative teams, but this time I also established close relationships with our Clinical and Regulatory teams to ensure that we were adhering to all FDA requirements.
Events
Annual Commercial Meeting
The Annual Commercial Meeting is the largest internal event for our commercial marketing teams to learn about new products, features, and tactics that they should expect for the upcoming year. This event is instrumental to the key learnings that enable sales teams to provide the best information on our products in order to change the lives of patients worldwide.
For 6+ years I have managed the creative event deliverables for the entire event, synchronizing work between marketers, designers, producers, social media teams, digital marketers, and event vendors to create an immersive and branded environment.
Coordinating dueling timelines, limited resources, and scope creep, my teams and I have been able to deliver best-in-class branding moments that speak to each years' unique and inspiring themes. Consistently melding the theme into keynotes, marketing materials, and environmental productions help generate buzz around the mission of the company.
Operations
Jira Implementation
The decision to implement Jira was particularly significant for me. Not only did I serve as the primary Program Manager for the initiative, but I also took on the critical role of key implementer and executor. Starting with limited knowledge of Jira, I quickly learned not just the latest version of the tool, but also how to leverage its new features to meet the unique needs of a creative team.
The program began with a simple yet challenging question: How can Jira help us prioritize our work without adding unnecessary complexity? This straightforward query posed a real challenge, given the diverse needs of the different teams. The solution? Customization—tailoring the tool to fit everyone’s specific requirements.
Over an accelerated 4-month timeline, we gathered insights, explored possibilities, and built a fully customized Jira experience. This included configuring Projects, Boards, Dashboards, Reporting, Automations, and integrating with our intake tool, ultimately launching Jira across the broader Brand and Creative team.
On-boarding Microsite
One of the biggest challenges for new hires is navigating a new team and trying to make sense of the flood of documents shared by multiple people. In a Brand and Creative team, which operates cross-functionally and in a dynamic environment, this challenge is amplified. The fast-paced nature of the work often leaves new employees feeling overwhelmed, struggling to quickly find key information, and unsure of where to access it in the future.
In 2025, I’m spearheading an initiative to streamline this process. Using the Bynder platform, we’ll create a centralized microsite that will serve as an all-in-one resource for the Brand and Creative team. This site will consolidate team documents, portfolios, and cross-functional processes, ensure timely updates to documentation, and provide an easily accessible reference point for everyone.
The initiative kicked off at the end of 2024, with a planned launch by the end of 2025.
Educational Programs
NASA Internship Program
The NASA Internship Program was a part of the education sector of Ames Research Center (ARC) and the sole office to coordinate internship application and program review, on-site interaction, and outreach opportunities for students.
As a principle player on the Program Management team, I was responsible for reviewing semiannual internship applications and aligning skill, field, opportunity, and need for any and all open program seats. Once students are awarded, I was accountable for preparing onboarding documents, process plans, housing, stipend, and calendar events for each internship department, ensuring a seamless and rewarding experience. I was also instrumental in the production of the end-of-internship exhibition where Interns showcase the work that they supported while at NASA.
